The Healer’s Art is a holistic approach to being your true self in a traumatizing world. Geared toward Christian and specifically Latter-day Saint mothers, the Healer’s Art is a resource for doing the inner healing work on oneself, generating a ripple effect outward through generations of family lines. Partnering with Jesus Christ and acknowledging He is the ultimate healer, The Healer’s Art seeks to co-create a world where everyone feels safe, seen, and heard so they can fulfill the purpose of their creation.

Tutored through podcast iterations

I started February 1, 2021 with just talking about my life stories on what I called Shame-Proof Your Life Podcast. Then a phrase dropped into my mind one day while I was taking a shower and I knew it was from the Spirit. I thought it might be the name of a future book (still possible) but decided to update my podcast with this name in order to align the podcast with a future book if that’s the case. The podcast become Why Not Me?

Then, around the episode number 75 mark, I updated again to Regulated & Restored: Trauma Coaching for Latter-day Saints. While this continues to feel aligned, the timing wasn’t right for me because I had a ton of drama around calling myself a trauma coach. After 40 or so more episodes, I closed that podcast down and decided to start fresh.

The If I’m So Blessed, Why Can’t I Feel Good podcast was born. I had an actual podcast launch this time. It was a long name for a podcast, but a compelling question. I still feel sad to leave that podcast iteration behind because I love the question so much, but it doesn’t capture the real nature of the work I do, or how I can help people. Plus, the Spirit guided me here, so…

A hopefully final re-brand for the podcast brings us to The Healer’s Art. I am open to whatever the Spirit guides me to, but I do get tired of changing regularly. Again, a recent prayer in the shower prompted me to look up the lyrics to the hymn Because I Have Been Given Much. When I went to the hymn and didn’t really notice anything, I thought that was strange. But then my eyes landed upon the phrase “I would learn the healer’s art” from the hymn on the opposite page, Lord, I Would Follow Thee. Something happened in my body and I knew that phrase was meaningful.

But at that same time, I was considering closing down the podcast altogether, because it’s evolved purpose was to bring people I could serve through my coaching into my world, and it didn’t seem to be doing that. I also was working with a coach who helped me update the copy on my website. “The Healer’s Art” just didn’t seem to belong anywhere until I considered updating the podcast instead of shutting it down.

The Healer’s Art podcast was born.

And I could not be more excited! This feels like a true version of who I am and the work I do.

The Healer’s Art podcast purpose

The Healer’s Art is meant to help Latter-day Saint (or just Christian) moms to do the inner healing work that will lead them to fulfilling eternal relationships, as well as understanding the healing craft that helps us be better moms (and better coaches). I my opinion the overlap between the craft of motherhood and the craft of coaching is high. I hope to pull the curtain back on the healing craft to make it more explicit in our lives, and enable us to help others too.

I also have to recognize that Jesus Christ is the ultimate source of healing, so through this work we are co-creating with Him. I hope to lead any who want to come on this journey toward a Zion world where everyone feels safe, seen, and heard so they can fulfill the purpose of their creation individually and as a collective.

This is the deepest desire of my heart, and I hope you’ll come with me.

Learning, conversations & practice

I want the podcast to be the beginning of valuable conversations, skill-building practice, and learning how to heal in a sustainable way. Therefore, I want to know what you think and need. If you have something to bring to the conversation, or an idea for an upcoming workshop, I’m all ears. I don’t want the podcast to be only me talking at you. I want it to be a conversation between real people who have real issues. Please feel free to email podcast@denitabremer.com to join the conversation. If you have questions, I will answer them on the podcast!

Thank you for being here. I truly appreciate you.

xo,
Denita
