Why there are no problems in the present
I have yet to be able to prove myself wrong here, but there are never any problems in the present. Let me explain.
When we have capacity to think about the present, there are never any problems. There are, objectively speaking, problems at every moment. But when we can actually think about the present there are never any problems in that moment. There is just being and feeling. When there are true emergencies, we don’t have capacity to think about or be in the present; we simply react or act.
True problems cause action
I will be the first one to tell you if there is a real problem right now, go do something about it! Don’t sit here feeling or embodying the moment! This is what I mean when I say there are no problems in the present. In the present, there is just being and feeling. Some might even say there are no problems except what you feel.
Make space to be, this Christmas
When is the last time you gave yourself space to simply be? I hope you do that this holiday season. Sit by your Christmas tree or a special place to you, and just be. Don’t have music or a podcast or TV going, don’t eat or drink. Just be for even a moment. Give yourself space and time to be problem-free. I promise those pesky problems will crowd their way back into your life soon enough. 😉
If you need help with making that space, register for my Presence demo on 1/4/24 at 11 am MST.
