“But it’s my responsibility!” This thought gets in the way of so many mothers being the mother they want to be.
And it’s because we take on responsibilities as if they were obligations. Most of them are subconscious. Let’s look at them one by one and exercise our agency in deciding consciously which ones to keep.
Because if you are overwhelmed with responsibilities, you won’t be the mom you want to be. Overwhelm or feeling heavy is the sign to rethink your responsibilities.
