It’s all fine and good to talk about healing in an ideal way, but what does it look like in real life? In this episode of The Healer’s Art, I brought in a long-term client and friend who I believe is a great example of a mother who heals. Sonya Payne has been on a healing journey for much of her adult life, has explored dozens of modalities, and has created a lot of healing results for herself. It’s still an ongoing journey and life isn’t always perfect, but her baseline experience of her life now includes peace, compassion and love, rather than apathy, irritation and resignation. Listen in to this episode to hear about Sonya’s lived experience and her view of healing.

What we talk about

In this interview we cover a lot of ground, but here’s a bit of what to expect:

  1. Where Sonya started including how she felt and what she was really struggling with.
  2. Sonya’s journey through lots of different modalities and teachers, and what made her want to hire help.
  3. Several breakthrough moments for Sonya personally.
  4. How her healing journey helped her spirituality and relationship with the Divine.
  5. Where she finds herself now compared to the beginning of her journey.
  6. Her own words of advice to anyone on a healing journey.
